Instructional League – Double A uses a pitching machine during the start of the season to help develop consistent batting mechanics.  During the rest of the season live pitching is used develop pitching mechanics and prepare the players for hitting off live pitching in Triple “A”.  Greater emphasis on play making and development of fielding skills.   Competitive environment used to teach strategy. Team rosters are balanced. 

 

Triple A utilizes live pitching to continue the refinement of skills and knowledge of the facets of the game.  League is still primarily instructional. Players should have opportunities to play a variety of positions.  Two games and typically one practice per week.  Team rosters are balanced.
