during the start of the season to help develop consistent batting
mechanics. During remainder of season, live pitching is used to develop
pitching mechanics and prepare the players for hitting in AAA. Greater
emphasis on play making and development of fielding skills. Competitive
environment used to teach strategy. Team rosters are balanced.
