To down load the form go to the Players & Parents page PCA Training PCA TRAINING - SESSION #2 IS Monday February 6th. The PCA training course is required for all San Carlos Managers and Coaches. This is a yearly requirement so even if you attended PCA last year, you are required to attend this year. Any parent/adult must be PCA certified to be on the field or in the dugout during practices or games. There will be no exceptions. SCLL believes strongly in providing a positive experience for all youth athletes. We are a big supporter of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). PCA is a national nonprofit organization committed to providing all youth and high school athletes a positive, character-building youth sports experience. SCLL depends on volunteers to make the season a great success. If you would like to Manage or Coach, please download, fill out and submit the Volunteer application at one of the in-person sign up sessions when paying. You will need to bring in a valid ID along with the application. If you can't Manage or Coach, please consider volunteering for a team position to make it easier for your Manager and Coaches to focus on the team and your child. Rule 1.16 Batting Helmets • Use of batting helmets by batters, all base runners, and all player base coaches is mandatory. • Teach players to leave helmet on until they return to the dugout/bench. • Helmets may not be re-painted or have tape or decals applied unless approved in writing by the helmet manufacturer or their authorized dealer.
