Hi SCLL Parents,
We hope you had a great baseball off-season!
We are gearing up for the 2018 SCLL Baseball season and wanted to share some important information.
Registration is set to go live on the SCLL web site on or close to November 1st.
As in previous years, you will need to register online and then come in person to one of the 3 sessions below to complete your registration. (note...this was changed and you no longer need to go in person...registration is completely automated).
Saturday November 11th – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Central Gym
Wednesday November 15th – 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the San Carlos Youth Center at Burton Park
Saturday November 18th – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Central Gym
The 2018 season will have an important rule change with regards to bats.
No longer allowed will be the Easton Mako bats, as Little League International has adopted a new bat standard.
Complete details on the new bat standard will be posted to the web site this week.
Below is a timeline regarding all divisions.
Some of these dates (especially at the AA, Farm, and T-Ball level) are subject to change, but this will give you a fairly accurate timeline of the division tryout and team formation process for 2018.

If you have questions on which division your child should sign up for, we have added a few resources to the site that might help.
Division Classification Guide – breaks down the differences between each division
2018 Little League Age Chart – provides your child’s baseball age for the 2018 season and thus which league he is eligible for
However if you still have questions please e-mail us and we will get them answered (e-mail the Web Site Guy, email@example.com)
Our goal is to have all your questions answered so that when you walk into registration it will be a simple, easy process.
SCLL Baseball is back!
Please spread the word around the community, especially to parents of younger kids (any child born as early as August 2014 can play T-Ball!).
It’s going to be a great 2018 season and we thank you for your support!
