Updated Guidance:  April 1, 2020

Dear SCLL Families,

We hope this email finds you well.  In our last email, we spoke about returning to little league activities on April 6.  Unfortunately, with the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Little League International Board of Directors is now advising all local Little League programs to suspend/delay their little league seasons through no earlier than May 11.

While this email is not easy to send, we do feel at ease that we are part of something bigger; stopping the spread of Covid-19.  Together, we are making the future of our great country better for all of us.  We will keep you updated as we find out more information.

In the meantime, we know how tough it is to experience beautiful weather in the spring and not have baseball.  All we can do is know that we’ll eventually get back out there.  In the meantime, get those kids in the backyard or driveway to keep the rust off with a game of catch or whiffle ball.  MLB The Show is only part of the offseason training regimen!  Keep baseball alive in San Carlos by posting baseball photos or videos to your Facebook page – we will keep an eye out and post these to the SCLL Facebook page!

Stay healthy and keep the faith!
