By Ted Mathias,

Ted Mathias (San Carlos Little League) sent you a message.

Hi SCLL Parents,

We hope you had a great Spring Break!!

We have 2 weeks remaining before the SCLL Hit-A-Thon at Burton Park on Sunday April 30th.

An e-mail was sent to you a few weeks ago from 99pledges with a link to donate.
99pledges is easy to use and you can also see how much other kids have pledged and how much your own team has pledged in total.
If you did not receive the e-mail from 99pledges, e-mail and they will hook you up.

There are tons of prizes to be won including multiple Xbox’s and PlayStation’s!
In addition, every kid that participates will get a raffle ticket towards winning the above prizes.

But more importantly, this is for a great cause.
The money raised will be used to add/improve scoreboards and improve the overall “fan experience” in 2018.

SCLL’s goal for each kid is $100 of pledges.
Simply send the 99pledges e-mail to friends and family and it is super easy for them to donate.

And while we are here, let’s go through our clubhouse leaderboard through 18 holes.

1. Luke Holmes – $575 – Majors Athletics
2. Robert Oda - $570 – Majors Pirates
3. Alessandro Martinez - $410 – AAA Marauders
4. Julian Levenson - $400 – Farm Nationals
5. Finn Early - $225 – AA Arizona Wildcats
6. Gael Fonseca - $221 – Majors Giants
7. Nathan Hui - $200 – AAA Sea Dogs
8. Cole Roark - $150 – Majors Pirates
9. Hunter Roark - $150 – AAA Sand Gnats
10. Alexander Romero - $150 Majors Red Sox

Well done guys and way to go Majors…come on other divisions, you can’t let Majors have half the names on the leaderboard! : )
And props to Luke Holmes who brought in over $1,500 last year and is back at it again. Great job Luke!

As far as teams go, here are the Top 10 teams.

1. Majors Pirates - $860
2. Majors Giants - $631
3. Majors Athletics - $575
4. Farm Nationals - $545
5. AAA Marauders - $510
6. AA Arizona Wildcats - $455
7. AAA Sand Gnats - $390
8. Majors Tigers - $226
9. AAA Sea Dogs - $200
10. AA Colorado State Rams - $175

There is still plenty of time for your child to hit the $100 goal!
Have some fun with it…sponsor a friend for $5 or $10 and maybe they will sponsor you back.

With 2 weeks remaining this promises to be a fun and exciting race to the finish!
Who will wear the Green Jacket and win the 2nd Annual SCLL Hit-A-Thon???

Let’s make this happen!
This is going to be a fun event for the kids and benefit the community for years to come!

Thank you for your participation!
